As a child she started drawing from her surroundings using her love of animals as an inspiration. She was a keen horse-rider and was always surrounded by animals of one kind or another. After having spent several of her early years in Phillipsthal, Germany and discovering the culture and art of that country she arrived in the United States in 1986 after marrying her sports instructor husband Eugene.
She is mostly self taught but is always open to the influences of others around her.
Her fondness of sports illustrations blossomed after watching her children growing up and taking an active involvement in sports.
During a spell of living in the UK she spent time studying at the Royal Berkshire School of Art and Design where she gained high honors and was awarded the coveted honor of entering the 3rd year placement. Her influences are many and her work is varied. What you see today is a small cross section of her work.
